Private label paint rollers and paint brushes, made in Bulgaria
Antares Ltd. has manufactured paint rollers and paint brushes in Ruse, Bulgaria, since 1996. In addition to its own brand, Antares produces OEM and own-brand paint rollers and brushes for paint manufacturers and distributors. More than 80 percent of production is exported.
The production cycle is fully closed. Only raw materials are purchased; tubes, caps, handles, rollers and brushes are all made in-house. This keeps quality consistent from one order to the next.

Why Antares for private label
Closed production cycle
All components are made in-house:
- plastic tubes, on a PP, PS and PE pipe extrusion line with gravimetric control;
- caps and other plastic parts, on computerised injection moulding machines;
- roller handles, on a PLC and CNC-controlled, fully automatic wire bending and handle insertion machine;
- marking, with CIJ inkjet printers and fibre and CO2 laser marking machines.
Production does not depend on outside component suppliers.
Automated production of rollers and brushes
Paint rollers are made on automated equipment with a capacity of more than 900,000 rollers per month. Paint brushes are produced on a fully automated, robotised line with a capacity of more than 550,000 brushes per month. Flock rollers are made on a separate, fully automated flock production line.

Raw material stock for at least 8 months
Raw materials are always kept in stock for at least eight months ahead, so private label lines stay available without interruption.
Production to customer specification
In addition to the standard range, rollers and brushes are made to customer requirements: fabric, pile, size, handle, colour and packaging, matched to the customer's market.
Products available under private label
- Paint rollers – fabrics in polyamide, polyester, microfibre, polyacrylic and wool, for water-based, solvent-based and two-component systems. Mini rollers and rollers with core diameters of Ø25, Ø42, and Ø52 mm.
- Flock rollers – high-density polyurethane foam, electrostatically coated with polyamide flock fibres. For smooth surfaces and high-gloss paints and varnishes, including two-component polyurethane and epoxy systems. Made on a separate, fully automated production line.
- Foam rollers – for smooth surfaces and DIY use.
- Roller handles – in-house production, impact-resistant polypropylene, threaded for extension poles.
- Paint brushes – classic straight brushes with natural or synthetic bristle, for professional and DIY use.
- Paint trays – in-house production, standard colour red.

Private label lead times do not include the time needed to agree the labels. All private label products are shrink-wrapped.
Order process
- Enquiry. The customer chooses from the standard Antares range or sends a description, photos or a technical data sheet of the required products.
- Offer. Antares confirms what can be produced and sends an offer, FCA Ruse.
- Labels. The customer provides the label artwork; Antares prints the labels.
- Production. 10-12 working days from order confirmation.
- Shipment. Goods are ready for collection in Ruse. Antares can help find a carrier or arrange transport.
Delivery terms
All prices are FCA Ruse, Bulgaria. Transport is not included in the product price. On request, Antares can help find a carrier or arrange transport and invoice it separately.
Antares brand
Products from the standard range are also supplied under the Antares brand. They are ready for shipment in 5–7 working days. See Products and Export & Wholesale.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work with private label customers outside the EU?
Yes. Antares supplies customers inside and outside the European Union, under the Antares brand and under the customer's own brand. A declaration of European origin of the goods and EUR1 can be provided.
Can one order include different roller fabrics and sizes?
Yes. One order can combine different covers and sizes.
What artwork is needed for the labels?
Labels are printed by Antares from the customer's artwork. Artwork is accepted as PDF and AI files in vector format, with all fonts converted to curves. Raster images must be at least 300 dpi.
Where are the products made?
All products are made at the Antares factory in Ruse, Bulgaria, an EU member state.
